‘Cooperative Lesson Describe student class: 18 students in 2" grade. 2 students with a leaning disabled, 4 students that are gifted and 1 student that is a second language leamer. Subject/skill: Science/Planets Objective: After PowerPoint and lecture students will be able to present collected information with in their assigned area of planets Question would be as followed (How far away from earth, one fact they find interesting, what color and if there is air, water and or life on the planet. With a 100% of completing the presentation and questions with their group. Procedures: ‘Teacher will state Obj/orient the student to the lesson. Teacher will present PowerPoint of the different planets in the solar system. Students will be place in 4 member group investigation teams and will be given a planet they will investigate and answer question off the PowerPoint. Students will work together to gather this information. Material: PowerPoint, print outs of information on their planet there group picked, books on Planets, sheet of paper and color markers. Grouping Structures: 4 groups of 4 students in an investigation teams.
