    GROUP WRITING ASSIGNMENT (20%)


    Given below is a topic for an essay:
    Nowadays it is common for parents to send their children to day care/child carecentres. What are
    some of the causes of this phenomenon? How does it affect the individual, families and society?

    The essay should be about 500 words. Work in groups of five. The members can be from
    your own or different regional centre(Pusat Wilayah).

    Discuss the content paragraph and each persons contribution to the essay.There must be
    minimally 5 paragraphs.Remember that your essay must be coherent. Specify the name of
    the writer at the end of the paragraph.

    No PLAGIARISM is allowed. 0 marks will be awarded for plagiarized essays. It is


    important for you to cite and quote appropriately. Remember to list your sources on the
    Reference Page at the end of your essay. The sources must be used when doing your intext citations in your essay. Use the APA Style of referencing.

    Date of submission:7 February 2016.All assignments must be submitted to the School of


    Distance Education, USM. Failure to submit on time will cause you to lose marks.
