    WellsandthisisanintroductionsothatyouhaveabetterunderstandingofwhoIam
    bothpersonallyandprofessionally.
    IattendedBishopOByrneHighSchoolinCalgaryandgraduatedin2008.IdecidedIdid
    notwanttopursuepostsecondaryeducationrightaway;instead,Ialternatedbetween
    workingandtraveling.Duringthistimeaway,Ispentfivemonthsvolunteeringinan
    orphanageinNepalandwenttoThailandfor4monthswhereItaughtEnglishinaKaren
    villageandworkedatanelephantsanctuary.
    Iamverypassionateabouttravelingandenjoylearningaboutothercultures,whichled
    metopursueacombinedundergraduatedegreeprograminanthropologyandeducation,
    whereIamcurrentlyinmythirdyear.Ialsolovetheoutdoors,camping,snowboarding,
    music,andart.
    Mygoalforthispracticumistodevelopintoabetterteacherbylearningmoreaboutthe
    praxisfordifferentialteachingstrategies,andhowtobetterimplementtechnologywithin
    theclassroom.Ilookforwardtogainingexperienceinyourclassroomandtobecomea
    betterteacherinthefuture.Iamverygratefulforthisopportunityandagain,thankyou
    verymuch.
