Just Another Day
Just Another Day
A ringing sound struck like a saber piercing through a sheet of glass that was my
slumber. The sound of felines and canines meowing and barking filled the void
silence occupied during the long night. Distorted spherical blobs of air rose to the
upper half of the aquarium that sat flush to the smooth and specular surface of the
wall. My hand pressing onto the fluffed pillow case with the pillow within removed
from it. My body started to rise from a bedded position to a seated position as my
eyes twitched trying as I struggled to have to recalibrate my vision with the bright
rays of light shining in from the hairline openings from the curtains hung at the
opposite end of the room hiding the window panes beneath its shadow. I was in awe
at the shadows of my feet cast on the pearl white colored sheets wrapped around
my bed as the result of the light rays shining onto my limbs as though my mind was
still in its infancy.
