SUBJECT: Ethics of Google
Google was one of the companies on the list for most ethical companies in 2015 on the
Ethisphere Institute website. I did some research into why Google has on this list of ethical
companies of 2015. In my research I found their Alphabet Code of Conduct, which Alphabet is
now the business part of the Google company now. This code of conduct is very simple and too
the point in what they expect from their employees. Some examples of topics are: avoid conflicts
of interest, ensure financial integrity and responsibility, obey the law, trade controls, competition
laws, insider trading laws, and anti bribery laws. All these points are important for a company
like Google/Alphabet it shows how ethical they are in what they want from their employees.
