What is Composition?

Composition may refer to the organized way of putting down

ideas, opinions and thoughts into writing.Writing a composition is
a complex activity that includes the mechanics of writing, spelling,
and the basics of language knowledge.
Types of Composition?
Narration - A type of composition that gives the readers the
impression of a particular event as well as the sense of actually
witnessing it. It also tackles what happened and how it
happened. The writer tries to emphasize the story of a particular
event by narrating or telling it to the readers.
Description - A type of composition that usually attempts to make
the reader realize how the author felt under certain circumstances.
It utilizes the five senses in order for the reader to create a picture
of what the author wanted to convey.
Exposition - type of composition usually analyzes a character or a situation, give
directions, define a term as well as to make something clearer to one presumably does not
understand something. In here, the writer tries to expose some information to the readers
to make them understand and informed about certain information.
Argumentation - type of composition appeals to the readers reasoning capability as well
as to the readers emotion. This type of composition makes the readers change their mind,
his attitude as well as his points of views and feelings.
