Mantenimiento
Para limpiar el instrumento, utilice una pao suave y seco. No utilice
disolventes de pintura, lquidos limpiadores, ni paos impregnados en
productos qumicos.
Atencin: manejo
No meta los dedos ni la mano en ningn hueco del instrumento.
Tampoco deje objetos de vinilo, plstico o goma encima del instrumento,
ya que pueden descolorar el panel o el teclado.
Conexiones
Antes de conectar el instrumento a otros componentes electrnicos, desconecte
la alimentacin de todos los componentes. Antes de apagar o encender los
componentes, baje el volumen al mnimo. Asimismo, recuerde ajustar el
volumen de todos los componentes al nivel mnimo y subirlo gradualmente
mientras ejecuta el instrumento, para establecer el nivel de escucha deseado.
Guardar datos
Copia de seguridad de los datos
Los datos guardados pueden perderse debido a un mal funcionamiento
o a una utilizacin incorrecta. Guarde los datos importantes en el ordenador.
Para informacin sobre el envo de datos, consulte la pgina 36.
Yamaha no se responsabiliza por daos debidos a uso inapropiado o modificaciones hechas al instrumento, ni tampoco por datos perdidos o destruidos.
Siempre apague el instrumento cuando no lo usa.

Enhorabuena!
Gracias por adquirir el Yamaha DD-65/YDD-60. El DD-65/YDD-60 se ha
desarrollado para responder y tocarse como una batera, pero con mayor facilidad
y flexibilidad, y con funciones sofisticadas. Antes de utilizar el instrumento,
le aconsejamos que lea detenidamente este manual.
Caractersticas principales
El DD-65/YDD-60 es un instrumento sofisticado y de fcil uso provisto de las siguientes caractersticas
y funciones:
Seleccionar y reproducir 254 sonidos de percusin diferentes
Ofrece una amplia variedad de voces de percusin que le permiten reproducir diferentes
sonidos cuando golpea los pads, como por ejemplo cambiar un pad para reproducir una caja,
un timbal, una conga o incluso efectos de sonido especiales, como un portazo o el rugido
de un len.
Seleccionar y reproducir 100 canciones diferentes
Las 100 canciones incluyen demostraciones, patrones de batera y patrones de relleno.
Puede silenciar las partes individuales e interpretar usted mismo la parte silenciada en los pads
y los pedales.
Grabar su propia interpretacin
En este instrumento puede guardar hasta cinco de sus interpretaciones, y estas canciones
se pueden reproducir de la misma manera que las canciones predeterminadas.

Instalacin
Asegrese de realizar las siguientes operaciones ANTES de encender el instrumento.

durante ninguna operacin de grabacin del DD-65/YDD-60.
De lo contrario, podran perderse datos.

al instrumento un nivel mnimo de electricidad.
Si no va a utilizar el instrumento durante un periodo

ATENCIN
Nunca conecte ni desconecte el adaptador de CA con las
bateras puestas y el instrumento encendido. Si lo hace,
se apagar el instrumento.
Instalacin
ADVERTENCIA
Evite utilizar los auriculares con un volumen elevado durante
largos perodos de tiempo; si lo hace, no slo podra
provocarse fatiga auditiva sino tambin problemas auditivos.
ATENCIN
Para evitar daos en los altavoces, ajuste al mnimo el
volumen de los dispositivos externos y apguelos antes de
conectarlos. Si no se observan estas precauciones, podra
producirse una descarga elctrica o daos en el equipo.
Asegrese asimismo de ajustar el volumen de los
dispositivos externos al nivel mnimo y aumentarlo
gradualmente hasta el nivel deseado mientras toca
el instrumento.

Encienda el instrumento.
Pulse el interruptor [STANDBY/ON].
ATENCIN
Aunque el interruptor se encuentre en la posicin STANDBY, la electricidad
seguir fluyendo por el instrumento al nivel mnimo. Si no tiene previsto utilizar
el DD-65/YDD-60 durante un largo perodo de tiempo, desenchufe el adaptador

Acerca de MIDI
Los terminales MIDI IN y MIDI OUT que estn situados en el panel posterior
del instrumento permiten conectarlo a otros instrumentos MIDI, dispositivos y
ordenadores para disfrutar de una mayor funcionalidad musical, por ejemplo, utilizar
este instrumento para reproducir sonidos en otros instrumentos, o grabar sus
interpretaciones en un secuenciador u ordenador.

Qu es MIDI?
MIDI (Interfaz digital para instrumentos musicales) es una interfaz estndar
en todo el mundo para la comunicacin entre instrumentos musicales
electrnicos y dispositivos de msica. Cuando se conectan instrumentos
que integran MIDI mediante un cable MIDI, es posible transferir datos de
interpretacin y ajustes entre ellos para obtener grandes mejoras en la
interpretacin y el potencial de rendimiento.

ATENCIN
Utilice el adaptador de alimentacin al transferir datos. Se pueden provocar daos en los datos
si se produce un fallo en las pilas durante la transferencia.
Observe que las canciones de usuario 01 a 05 se utilizan habitualmente para canciones
que el usuario ha grabado o cargado. Procure no borrar los datos importantes.
Nunca apague el instrumento ni enchufe o desenchufe el adaptador de CA mientras se estn
transmitiendo datos. No slo no se transferirn ni se guardarn los datos, sino que se puede
desestabilizar el funcionamiento de la memoria flash y su contenido puede desaparecer por
completo al apagar o encender el instrumento.

Foot Pedal 2, those voices can be controlled with the Foot Pedal 2
as follows:
Strike the pad while pressing the Foot Pedal 2, the Closed HiHat voice will sound.
Strike the pad without pressing the Foot Pedal 2, the Open HiHat voice will sound.
Press the Foot Pedal 2 without striking the pad, the Hi-Hat
Pedal voice will sound.
If these voices have been assigned to more than one pad, only
the left-most pad can be used with the Pedal function (Closed/
Open).

Polifona mxima
El instrumento tiene una polifona mxima de 32 notas. Esto

In the notation above, eighth notes are to be played with a triplet feel (as shown in the notation below).
For swing and shuffle rhythms, this straight notation is preferable to the triplet indication since it is easier to read.
