I started off by playing the intro melody / riff with a Plectrum keys sound. Underneath the intro riff I played in the chords for the song. I included a reverb on the verse chords to make the sound feel more spacious and further away.

I started off by playing the intro melody/riff with a Plectrum keys sound. I also added a delay to the intro melody/riff. Underneath the intro riff I played in the chords for the song although I played it with a descending harmony. This means playing the root note of the chord and the 3rd note together leaving the middle note out. I did this to create a build up for when I bring the full chord into the song with the vocals I recorded. I included a reverb on the verse chords to make the sound feel more spacious and further away. I recorded the harmony I did twice and panned each one, 1 left and 1 right. On the melody I changed the velocity on 2nd last note D because I played it harder than all the other notes. I changed the EQ levels on SoCal drum. I used EQ on the lower end of drum in the intro to build up the melody. This is to create a different feel on the main melody. At the end of the track I included a fade out automation on the chords and drums to finish the piece.
