Protective Water in Oil Baby Cream with Zinc Oxide C545

The principal role of a baby cream is to protect the baby from nappy rash and chafing. Zinc
oxide is often used in such preparations at levels of 7-14% due to its protective and antiphlogistic properties. This water in oil barrier cream is emulsified by a combination of Corona
Pure New Lanolin, a pharmaceutical grade lanolin, and Super Hartolan. Also a
pharmaceutical grade raw material, Super Hartolan contains in excess of 30% cholesterol
and 20% related sterols which are responsible for its highly efficient emulsifying, moisturising
and conditioning properties. Croderol GV9000, a humectant, provides additional skin
moisturisation.
