As you prepare for

your semester, we thought you find this tip sheet helpful.
Instructor Access: Please use your DavisPlus credentials when accessing Medical Language Lab.
Student Access: Your students will need two pieces of information when using Medical Language Lab:
1. Access Code: Your students will need an Access Code to use Medical Language Lab, which F.A.
Davis Company provides in the following ways:
a. On the inside cover of a new text book
b. Online for purchase at Medical Language Lab
2. Class ID: The Class ID is generated when you create a class within Medical Language Lab. You
must provide your students with a Class ID in order for your students to access your class and
submit work to your gradebook.
Sample Message to Students: Below is a sample message that can be provided to your students to
explain how to access Medical Language Lab:
As part of our course curriculum, we will be using an online product called Medical
Language Lab. Please visit the website, MedicalLanguageLab.com. Once there, create
an account by following the instructions contained in the student manual. When
creating your account, please use the same email address you use within our Learning
Management System. If you already have a DavisPlus account, please login with those
credentials.
Please note that you will need an Access Code to enter Medical Language Lab. The
Access Code can be found on the inside cover of your new text book. Or, you can
purchase Access at Medical Language Lab.com.
Once within Medical Language Lab: please enter the following Class ID number:
XXXXXXX.
