EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE GLOBAL CORPORATION

Corporations are many companies that work for a specific goal that is making
money and take advantage from earth. The corporations do not care about the earth
benefits; only about the increase of money. Nowadays, corporations exploit and also
abuse the environment. In the same way does not exist strict laws that regulate the misuse
of the earth. Moreover, there are many cases of environmental corruption. First,
environment is being exploited in a misuse way. Corporations are benefited of natural
resources because these are free, for example mining companies use water to wash the
minerals they get and they do not care with toxic waste contaminate. In the same way the
seafood are affected by illegal hunting. Second, around the world there are no real laws to
protect the earth, for instance groups such as the G8 meet to address environmental
issues, but have failed to establish laws to condemn industrialized countries that emit
CO2. China and USA are part of G8, and these are the most polluted countries. Finally the
environmental corruption is a biggest problem, for example between 2004 and 2009 the
Indian government allocated coal blocks to private companies, so that these companies
gained huge profits. In conclusion, corporations only looking for make money, these are
not interested in producing a profit for the society, cause serious damages to the
environment, are corrupt and do not take responsibility for their actions.
