I am writing this letter to offer my recommendation regarding Courtney Meyer. I was Courtneys
clinical instructor for Chamberlain College of Nursing during her Collaborative and Capstone clinical.
This clinical experience was at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois in the
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Room. Courtney consistently delivered quality
care to patients through critical thinking, compassion, and professionalism. Throughout her clinical
experience, Courtney was eager to learn, focused on improving her skills, and was enthusiastic about
new learning opportunities. Courtney was very thorough in her assignments, assessments and care
delivery. Courtney was also always willing to take on more if she achieved her goals during clinical.
During this clinical, I found Courtney to be functioning at a higher level for a nursing student than
normal. Courtney demonstrated excellent nursing potential and would make a good addition to any
healthcare team.
