1. i) Hydraulics: the branch of science and technology concerned with the


conveyance of liquids through pipes and channels, especially as a source of
mechanical force or control.
ii) Pneumatics: the branch of physics or technology concerned with the
mechanical properties of gases.
iii) Electromagnetic: of or relating to the interrelation of electric currents or
fields and magnetic fields.
The differences between the methods above of energy transfer between
robotic systems are hydraulics controls the mechanical force or control,
Pneumatics is the properties of the gases in a robotic system and the
Electromagnetic is the electric currents or fields and the magnetic fields in
the robotic system, each method controls different things in the robotic
system.
