Summer Shootout

Who: Adult league

What: This will be the first annual adult 7 on 7 single day soccer
tournament. There will be an estimated 12 teams in the tournament. It
will be a double elimination bracket and be run from 9am to
approximately 6pm (championship game held at 5pm), with a lunch
break from 12-1.
When: June 20
Where: Colville High School
o 12 months prior to event
Reserve facility space
Find sponsorship opportunities
o 6 months prior to event
Secure Sponsorship dollars
Prepare waiver form for participants
o 4 months prior to event
Verify facility space
Prepare draft copy for tournament entry form
Find emergency personal for tournament
o 3 months prior to event
Print final draft of tournament entry form
Contact and secure media publications
(radio&newspaper)
o 2 months prior to event
Take flyers and posters to sponsor businesses and
schools
Select final design for t-shirts
Decide on awards for winners
Start finding volunteer workers
o 1 month prior to event
Order shirts
Order awards
Secure officials/volunteers
Secure all equipment needs
o 1 week prior to event
Make final bracket
