Development of Stomach

First, stomach and gastrointestinal tube are the derivate of

entoderm. The development of stomach depends on the folding
of embryo, towards in chepalo-caudal and lateral. Chepalocaudal folding caused by the rapid growth of the nervous system.
Lateral folding caused by somites that growing rapidly. Therefore,
the instestine form like tubes passively formed from the
entoderm that lining the bladder yolk. As a result of the folding
movements, the relationship between the embryo and yolk sac
were initially wide becomes increasingly narrowed, so that
only left behind a long narrow canal called the ductus

Foregut consist of three part, cranial segment that will be

broadens ventrodorsally, But in this stage, The dorsal part of
the stomach grows faster than the ventral one and produces the
curvature mayor and curvature minor of stomach.
Then, The positional changes when the stomach rotates
around a longitudinal axis, carries out in 90 degree. Its
causing the dorsal part of stomach in the left, and ventral
part of stomach in the right.
Then, stomach will rotates in anteroposterior axis, that
caused the displaces the pyloric part to the right and
upward and the cephalic or cardiac portion to the left and
downward slightly, resulting in the future duodenum.
Since at this stage of development, the stomach is
attached to the posterior body wall by the dorsal
mesogastrium, longitudinal rotation pulls the dorsal

mesogastrium to the left and helps form the omental

bursa or lesser sac (a peritoneal pouch found behind the

Pelipatan sefalocaudal disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan pesat
susunan saraf secara memanjang. Pelipatan lateral disebabkan
oleh pertumbuhan somit-somit yang tumbuh cepat. Oleh karena
itu usus yang menyerupai tabung terbentuk secara pasif dari
entoderm yang melapisi kandung kuning telur. Sebagai akibat
dari gerak-gerak pelipatan, hubungan antara embryo dan
kantung yolk yang pada mulanya lebar menjadi semakin
menyempit, sehingga hanya tertinggal sebuah saluran sempit
yang panjang disebut ductus vitellinus.
Sebagai akibat pelipatan chepalo-caudal, akan terbentuk usus
sederhana bagian depan (foregut), usus sederhana bagian
tengah (midgut)) dan usus sederhana bagian belakang (hintgut).
Foregut terdiri dari tiga bagian, segmen kranial yang akan
menjadi faring, bakal kerongkongan, dan bakal perut ( primordial
perut ).
Dalam lima ( 5 ) minggu, primordial lambung akan membesar
dan melebar secara ventrodorsal (akan membentuk struktur
seperti kantung), Tapi dalam tahap ini, bagian dorsal lambung
tumbuh lebih cepat dari bagian ventral dan menghasilkan
curvature mayor dan curvature minor lambung
Kemudian, Perubahan posisi saat lambung berputar di sekitar
