Dictionary of occupational Titles: Careers
On the website page Dictionary of Occupational Titles, it shows a list of all the
different careers and the basic information one need to know about that specific job
title. In the website it also states the different traits someone needs to be able to
get successful in the career. It also provides things you need to do in that career,
while researching careers I found=d one that stood out the most.
A career I am interested in is pursued in the future is an elementary school
teacher. To become an elementary school teacher one must know how to teach a
student academic, social. And motor skills in public or private schools. An
elementary teacher also needs to maintain order in classroom and playground. They
also need to know how to discuss academic and behavioral attitudes with parents.
Another thing is they need to be prepared to teach combined grade classes.
To become and elementary teacher I plan to graduating Everett Alvarez High School
with the class of 2016. After graduating I am going to CSUMB and getting my
bachelor degree in Liberal studies. The reason why I want to become an elementary
teacher is because I want the kids to be able to be successful because I am
teaching the children of the future. Also be able to help the childrent that need help
in education.
