Plot: Jane Goodall is a very adventurous young girl. She loves animals and loves seeing them in her
hometown of London. Jane finally gets to travel to Africa where she gets to study and be surrounded by
wild chimpanzees. Jane becomes one of the leading researchers and scientists on Chimpanzees. She has
now become an old woman and continues to study and interact with chimpanzees.

Setting: London England, Tanzania, Gombe, and Congo.

Theme: Continue to pursue what makes you happy.

Characterization: This book mainly focuses on two sets of characters, Jane Goodall and the chimps. Jane
is a very smart girl who grows to be one of the greatest female scientists.

Style: Very fun and interactive style that shows the reader a personal look into the life of Jane Goodall.
The illustrations are very colorful.

Point of View: First Person
