Consequence plan for my classroom:
When a student does not meet these
expectations:
first time

verbal warning

second time
time in quiet corner to
write down/reflect on why child is making
these choices
third time
spend game time doing
something helpful for a teacher or aide
fourth time parents called

severely poor/dangerous choice

sent to the principal, follow up meeting
with myself and parent/guardian
When a student makes fantastic
choices:
Praise, extra responsibilities, stickers,
choice in activity during game time
Other important rules for classroom management:
Every day is a fresh new day. We do not hold onto
yesterday.
No parent should be surprised by what is happening in
the classroom. communication through photo app,
verbal discussion and written dialogue needs to be
ongoing and honest.
