Ex 13: Overheard Dialogue
Overheard from a neighboring booth at a Dennys. Pretty sure this a couple
and their child (father (?) is A, mother (?) is B and daughter (?) is C). They didnt
sound really irritated with each other through this, more like a repeated routine that
theyre all used to.

No I didnt notice anything //was on

Whats funny is that you wereyou are the person to notice that out of
everyone in this room. Thats //pretty funny

Even more silence. Starting feel a bit bad for this girl.

B laughs. C laughs, a bit awkwardly.

(a bit annoyed)

(getting progressively higher-pitched)
Oh your sweater wasI thought you were talking about the //movie

I knew, I knew that you didnt care. I knew I was like, why would I even
need to tell her? She doesnt care. //And I was right.
