Date flow during system starting up and boot up process:

1- Switch power on. The user switches the power on by clicking on the power
button.
2- Power supply converts AC to DC and feed power to all components
according to their needs.
The power supply converts it in order to reduce the voltage of the
electricity.
3- CPU receives instructions from ROM; The CPU gets the information from
the memory in order to make the self-check.
4- CPU runs tests on all components to make sure they are ready; This action
is made to verify any other components and see if everything is okay
5- CPU finishes test and look for operating systems in storage (Hard disk, or
CD/DVD). After the check is made, the CPU knows everything is alright so
it`s time to progress with the next step.
6- CPU loads Operating system into RAM. The ram is empty so the CPU loads
the operating system so it can be booted up.
7- Operating system boots up. The system is loaded.
8- Operating system display log in screen. The CPU loads the information to
the Output systems ( monitor)
9- User use keyboard to input user name and password. The user inputs his
credentials.
10-Operating check user details and allows access. The system will check on
the data base and if it is correct the system will allow access to the user.
