Risk Assessment

Day 1:

There are many possible risks here, as we are filming at a

train station. There are regular running trains arriving at the
station and can potentially be very dangerous, so when filming
we must proceed with extreme caution. We will do this by not
going near the platform edge. Equally, there are going to be
quite a few people at the station, as they will be waiting for
trains, so we must be careful not to get in the way of people
getting on and off the train and causing an accident. The forecast
predicts there will be rain, so we must take caution when
shooting scenes running as we could slip, or going up or down
stairs as this too could be potentially dangerous. We will wear
appropriate footwear, suitable for wet conditions.

Day 2:

Day 2 of filming will take place in cam’s shed. Inside the

shed is quite packed with tools and equipment, so we have to be
cautious not to knock anything or trip over anything, which
could be quite fatal. We can avoid some tripping by simply
moving any objects from the area we intend to film in. There are
no major risks as this is private property. There will be no
people around, and as it will be indoors, weather is not a
concern

Day 3:

There will also be possible risks on day 3 of filming, as we

intend to film in Tesco car park. Firstly we will have to ask for
permission to film there, as it is private property. We aren’t
going to be doing much filming, however there is one major
risk. As it is a car park, we must be extremely careful about
moving cars. To avoid any accidents we must check if the road
is clear before filming, and must keep checking throughout
filming the shot. We must take extra caution when filming and
when not filming. The weather is predicted good, however not
all weather predictions are correct, so we will wear suitable
clothing and footwear.

Day 4:

For our final day of filming we plan to film in a café in

Dursley Town. It’s a public place so we must ask for permission
first. We must not disturb or get in the way of other people in
the café so we have to be careful. We also plan to film some
shots at Richards’s house, in his bedroom, so there isn’t much
risk. All this filming will be indoors so weather won’t be a
concern again.
