Sometime politicians say stupid things, sometimes they do it because of lack of

information, other times because they believe in those stupid things. I don`t know
exactly which one of those options is the right option I can fit Ms. Hillary Clinton
writings about Brazilian politics in. She actually believes In what she has declared or
it`s just ignorance?
She was commenting on the protests that Brazil had on her book Hard Choices
when she wrote this: "Instead of ignoring or beating and arresting protesters, as did
many other countries, including Venezuela, Dilma(president of Brazil) joined them,
acknowledged their concerns and asked them to work with the government to solve
the problems.
That is just outrageous! The protest itself started when a small group of people who
were complaining about the rise of prices of bus tickets were severely reprehended
by the police. It was so ridiculous that it shocked everyone in the country and made
to the national news. When the protests got bigger, it was easy to notice that even
common people were being beat up by the repressive forces of the government.
Some of my close friends actually got to see situations where it happened, and
there`s tons of videos of it on youtube if you don`t believe on me.
Also Ms. Clinton continue her terrible analysis of Brazilian politic with this [She is] a
woman example of democracy [on Latin America]".
Despite what Ms. Hilary said, Dilma is a terrible example of a democratic person.
Recently she signed an executive order that put citizens of social movements(by
preference the ones that supports her) with more power than the regular Brazilian
citizen. A famous journalist, Reinaldo Azevedo, explained it The Brazilian
Constitution guarantees the right to free expression and establishes the form of
representative democracy through free elections, picking Parliament. What Dilma is
doing, by executive order, is to create another category of representation, which
does not pass through the elective process. This is an initiative that seeks to erode
within the democratic regime.
