On October 26, 1985, Marty McFly was transported back in time thanks to the
innovative use of technology and imagination. The study of Unit 2 will take us on
a journey from the western frontier through the birth of modern America
illustrating the inventions and innovations that made these changes possible.
On this 30th anniversary of Back to the Future, we celebrate innovation by taking
a trip through time identifying and researching an invention or tech
innovation that helped shape the face of the nation. You will then use
your research to create an annotated timeline. Just as Marty arrived back in time
on November 12, so must this assignment.
