Habitat:
Democratic republic of Congo, between the Congo River and the Lomami river. the
Kasai and Sankuru Rivers, and Lac Ndombe region.
They are much like the chimpanzee, but are much more peaceful. They make love
to settle disputes, and this prevents a lot of violence. They are peaceful animals,
and actually live close to humans in the Congos. But they do not disturb the
residents. The Bonobos have been hunted and have been removed from the
ecosystem for about 10 years now.
