This yearly event run by the Rotary Club of Ascot has moved to a larger venue, Cannington Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds and will take place on the 10 th and 11th of October 2015. Bricktober will showcase models built from LEGO by fans of the brick in Perth W.A. and will include the theme of City and Trains, Friends, Technic, Star Wars, Disney Princesses, Elves, Lone Ranger, Superheroes and many more. Activities on the day will include a Brickpit of over 20,000 Lego pieces, animated Lego films on the big screen, life size Lego Man, competitions, prizes, and the chance to drive a Lego train with a remote. There will be appearances by Superheroes and Princesses on Saturday and 501st Legion Desert Scorpion Squad (Star Wars) on Sunday. Money raised on the day goes towards support for programs for young children and other Rotary and community projects, including the world eradication of Polio. The Rotary Club of Ascot are proud to be hosting Bricktober Perth for the second year in a row, hopefully bigger and better this time, said Stephen. There will be no door sales to prevent queuing, however tickets can be pre purchased for a chosen time slot at www.bricktober.info/booking2015.
