Lesson Plan Phonemic Awareness

Title: Rhyme Time

Objective: Have the student be able to rhyme
with a word given to them.
Steps:
Pull out objects from a bag that I
brought into class.
Say the word of the object to the
student.
Have them answer back with a word
that rhymes with that word.
Example:
Me: Hat

Hailey: Cat

Evaluation: This was Haileys second time to do

a
rhyming activity. During this time she did better
than
the first time. I think doing the activity with
objects helped her understand what rhymed with
the word.
