In the fifth week, we mostly talked about the body language a teacher should certainly use

efficiently in the class. How can we use our body language “efficiently”? First, we shouldn’t
exaggerate our gestures. Then, we should keep eye contact with the students, each of them – but
not longer than 3 sec. as it may be really annoying for a student

To enjoy as learning, we played charades. But this time the game was a bit different from the
typical ones we always play. We tried to tell/guess some phrases and idioms used in the class by
teacher to give instructions to the learners. It was a bit difficult but while playing, we became aware
of how to use our body language as giving these instructions.

In a part of the lesson, we were caught up in yesterday, thinking about our teachers in
primary or high school. Of course there was a purpose on it; we tried to remember how they used
their body language while teaching, if they did so. Some of them were good at if, some were quiet
bad.

We also learned that the best seating shape is the “U” shape as all the students can see each
other and the teacher can go closer to all of them and interact with them. That’s why everytime we
arrange our class so (:

All these things will contribute to my teaching style if I’ll be a teacher one day in the future.
