Altona City Theatre is excited to announce (most of) our 2016 season including a

pantomime opening in February, and one of our two full-scale productions set to
open in July and October respectively.
In February our pantomime, "Alice in Wonderland" will make its way to the Altona
Theatre stage. Alice is a show for the whole family, the tale plays with logic, giving
the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children.
In July, we will continue the family friendly theme with "Seussical the Musical".
Seussical is a musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss and brings together his most
famous tales and characters from at least fifteen of his books. Seussical is a show
about courage, imagination and how each are found in every person, no matter how
small.
Currently we are keeping our October show under wraps, keep an eye out for more
details to be released.

Applications
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for whole production teams,
specifically; director, musical director and choreographer, to take on the
responsibility for piecing together our July production of Seussical. If you are
interested in bringing these musicals to life on the Altona stage, please contact us

We require a one page expression of interest noting a brief description of the style
in which the show would be staged and any prior experience you have had with the
particular show in the past whether it be personal involvement or even within the
audience.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 16th November 2015, please submit your
completed expression by that date for it to be considered.
