Gun violence has become a major problem in many countries such as Philippines.

It has brought about many tragedies and other unfortunate events such as the
Maguindanao Massacre, Manila Hostage Crisis, Terrorist attack in France, Sandy Hook
Elementary School shooting incident in the USA and the recent case of the Fallen 44 of
the PNP-SAF. Despite that, these guns were also used to protect the nation, to obtain
peace and freedom, to feel a sense of security, to defend ones self and to save a
life. This issue then sparks two questions: Is it really guns and other firearms that are
evil or is it humans who abuse it that are the real demons? and Would going for a
gunless society be the answer to this problem that the several generations before have
been trying to solve?. Whenever I say gunless society, I first think of a place where
guns dont exist, cannot be seen and are never needed nor used.
