For the Church, Lord, watch over the

leaders of your Church, our Pope Francis,
ArchBishop John Wong, our Parish Priest
Fr. Fundes and Fr. Tony.
Keep them faithful to their vocation and
to the proclamation of your message.
Teach them to recognize and interpret the
signs of the times.
Strengthen them with the gifts of the
Spirit, and help them to serve their
subjects, especially the poor and lowly.
Give them a definite sense of your
presence in the world and a knowledge of
how to show it to others.
We pray to the Lord.

We pray for all those whose task it is to

lead nations, especially the leaders who
will be chosen (elected) in the coming
election, that their leadership is just,
righteous and fair and may they reflect
the wisdom and loving care just like
Jesus towards his people.

We pray for those who burdened by any

kind of difficutlies, Give strength to
those who are weary and new courage to
those who have lost heart. Hear the
prayers of all who call on You Lord, in
any trouble that they may have the joy of
receiving Your help in their need.

We pray for our parish community,

especially our own community here in
Stella Maris, that we may be filled and
be open to the power of Gods Spirit and
love. Let us be the instruments to do the
work of the Lord, so that we can bring
the truth to those who are searching for
Him.
