Re: Christy Monaghan Hurling Tournament- Gort Inse Guaire

Dear Parent/Guardian,
It is planned to hold The Christy Monaghan tournament on Sun 15th of November at Gort
GAA grounds with first throw in for 1.00pm.
With the official opening of the GAA grounds earlier this year it was not possible to hold it at
the usual time and hence the teams will be from 3rd class to 1st year in line with normal age
grouping for the tournament.
As usual all panellists attending may partake in the tournament.
A group from our senior hurlers panel and the managers of the juvenile teams have kindly
volunteered to help out this year with the selection and mentoring etc. on the day.
It was decided with the approval of the host family to invite the camogie players from Gort
Parish also to partake.
We look forward to meeting parents and panellists on the day for what promises to be a
good fun and enjoyable family day out for all.
As usual the club house will be open on the day and refreshments will be provided
