Version 4 is the biggest upgrade to BibleDatabase yet. This version (4.0.3) is a

FINAL RELEASE version. Although you will not notice much difference from previo
us versions the main difference is in the addition of language packs.
How it works
All (if not in this version then in the next) Messages have been removed from th
e software and placed in external Message files. The messages include
Message boxes,
Menu Items,
Buttons,
Text Boxes.
By placing these text items in a separate file it is now possible for the first
time for BibleDatabase to be truly Multi-Lingual
Supplied with this version are the language files: ENGLISH SWEDISH, INDONESIAN,
GERMAN and PORTUGUESE. The Swedish file is not complete and has approximately 20
messages still in English.
Naming conventions
You will find the language files in the \msg\ Directory under \BibleDatabase\
On first use bibledatabase defaults to the following two language files:
ENGLISH_FRM.mes and ENGLISH_STD.mes
To change to another language, you do this by clicking Tools -> Language Editor.
Select the language you want and then click SET AS DEFAULT. If the language mod
ules exist, BibleDatabase will close to re-initialize itself with the new langua
ge.
If the language modules do NOT exist, BibleDatabase will change the Books displa
yed of the Bible ONLY.

If you create a set of language modules please also translate the file ENGLISH_F
avVerses.txt as well as ENGLISH_LicenceAgreement.txt and upload the files at htt
p://bibledbdata.org/forum/ You will be given credit for your work as well as he
lping greatly with this project.
All language files should be edited with a standard TEXT EDITOR and NOT a word p
rocessor or they will not work.
