DEFINE THE FOLLOWING TERMS AS

RELATED TO ELECTRICAL
SIGNALS/WAVEFORMS
Period: Is the time between two peaks or troughs.
Frequency: Is the number of waves per unit of time.
Amplitude: Is the distance between rest and the peak.
Time: Is how long the waveform is going for.

QUESTIONS
1. Calculate the various electrical parameters for a graph:
Period: 22 ms
Frequency: 20ms
Amplitude: +6V

2. Determine the frequency of a waveform having a period of

1.4 milliseconds
The frequency of a waveform having a period of 1.4 ms is 0.7
Hz, 1/1.4=0.7Hz

3. If an AC voltage has a frequency of 350 Hz, how long (in

time) is its period
Its period is 3ms, 1/350=3ms
