Rare Chinese customs

China is an ancient country with a lot of customs. Those

customs are pretty rare for people that arent from China, like
us.
For example, when you gift something, you have to give the
gift using your two hands. If you're receiving the gift, you have
to do it in the same way. If you don't do it in that way, you
would be disrespectful.
When you stop eating, you mustnt rest chopsticks vertically
in rice. Its a signal of death. Its very rude.
If you're eating soup and you're not alone, you have to make
noises as a signal of appreciation to the cook.
Another custom is that if you're going to drink something with
someone, you have to fill his/her glass. Your guest will do the
same. It's impolite to drink by yourself.
If a member of a married couple is a cheater, the other
member can kill him. If the cheater is a man, the woman can
kill hi m using only her hands. She doesn't have to do that, but
it's legal.
There's also a law which says that you must only have one
child. That law had negative social consequences.
Finally, we can get to the conclusion that China has customs
that may look weird for us. In the same way, we have customs
that are pretty peculiar for them, and it's normal.
