MEET THE STUDENT TEACH Dear Parents & Guardians, My name is Tammy Meyers and I will be student teaching with Mrs. Callis in your child’s class. [will be in the second grade classroom until early October, at which time I will move to a fifth grade classroom. In December, I will graduate from Saint-Mary-of- the-Woods College with my Bachelor's degree in elementary education and mild intervention. Thave wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember! I have two children at home, my youngest has not started school yet and my oldest is a recent graduate from Sommer Elementary. [know how wonderful all the teachers are here and it is an honor that I get to finish my training alongside them! These first few days of school I have been getting to know your child and observing in the classroom. I will soon begin teaching some of the lessons.
