Background
NME stand for the new musical express and is
usually associated with rock, alternative and
indie music.
The current editor is Mike Williams, however
the first issue was published on the 7th of
March 1952
The company that publishes the NME are time
inc.
The online version of the NME was launched
in 1996 and the NME has just recently
become a free title in 2015

year
