with an informal talk.She asked the students Which was your previous period?. Are you interested to learn a new poem? The teacher asks some questions to check their awareness about farming or to understand their personal experience with any farmer. Teacher : Do you have cultivation in your home? Learners : some responds as yes and some no,while others explained some sort of cultivation in home like ladys finger,tomato,chilly etc. Teacher : Have you seen any farmers working in a farm? Learners: Yes, some of them describes their experience of the sight of farmers farming in a field. Teacher ; What is the speciality of farming? Learners: The farming mainly involves sowing of different seeds Teacher : What does the farmer do after sowing seeds? Learners : After sowing, harvesting is done.

and the name of the poem is The Sower The teacher divides the students in to various groups and asked them to read the poem silently. The teacher asked them to give their own personal description of the poem by reading the poem and identifying the pictures shown The students expressed their views and teacher then gives a detailed explanation about the poem. After giving a gist, the teacher asked some of the students to read. After explanation inorder to test the comprehension,she asks some questions. Assignment The teacher assigns the students to create a poem of similar theme.
