UPDATE SPECIFICATION of HCNA-HNTD(v2.

0)

1)
New
scope
of
technologies
covered
for
support
The HCNA certification has been greatly improved with the introduction of
technologies that not only enhance the enterprise network, but also bridge the
technical divide between the many certification paths offered as part of the
Huawei certification portfolio. This includes the positioning of technologies
such as WLAN and LTE, and the introduction of GRE not only as an enterprise
network solution, but also as a growing technology capable of supporting
virtualization solutions within the cloud. A greater focus has also been given
to other technologies including GVRP in support of VLANs, WAN based
technologies, Network Management solutions, IP security and solutions for IPv6
networks. As such, engineers will be equipped with the skills and knowledge
necessary to not only effectively support enterprise networks, but also achieve
a smooth transition to the next level of training for all certification paths,
including
those
involving
next
generation
technologies.
2)
Redesigned
training
architecture
and
course
flow.
The course provides a natural evolution of network development from physical
and data link establishment, through to internetwork and application management
so as to instill qualities that aid in building key foundational knowledge for
strong
design
and
troubleshooting
skills.
3)
Enhancement
of
hands-on
training
experience.
The course provides a natural evolution of network development from physical
and data link establishment, through to internetwork and application management
so as to instill qualities that aid in building key foundational knowledge for
strong

skills.
4)
Integration
of
eNSP
simulation
platform
Greater support has also been given for eNSP to be integrated as part of the
training labs, to ensure that those attending training have the basic skills to
navigate
and
use
eNSP
as
part
of
the
HCNA
lab
exercises.
5)
Routing
&
Switching
(R&S)
based
security
technologies.
Security based technology concepts within the HCNA version 2.0 have been
streamlined to focus entirely on the security technologies supported by routing
and switching products. As such, other forms of security including those
supported by firewalls will now be supported through the HCNA-Security
training.
6)
New
HCNA
examination
question
bank
The HCNA examination now contains a whole new set of questions with a greater
emphasis on product configuration and real world application of technologies.
Candidates will be assessed based on each individuals capability to apply
technologies and products to enterprise based requirements, through questioning
