Students vs. Nurses War

The Schools have planned to
implement a new plan in the year
2020. The plan is called the 1 to 750
ratio meaning there should be one
nurse for every 750 students in any
given school. We are hoping this will
increase the health of students with
more one on one health attention.
Currently there is usually only
one nurse per school but what
happens when there are multiple sick
kids during flu season or a line down
the hall of kids with lice? The
problems will not be fixed quickly or
efficiently in the manner they should
be. The struggle with implementing
this ratio is that having more than one
nurse can be expensive for the schools
but it is necessary.
The percent of schools with a 1
to 750 nurse to student ration at the
moment is 40.6 percent. The target
percentage is 44.7 percent by the year
2020.

Cold
80% chance of the flu.

With flu season approaching

and the flu shot not being
mandatory, many children will be
getting sick in the next few months.
So what? So if we incorporate
the 1 to 750 plan into the schools the
children of next generation will
remain healthier and have more
attention paid to their health by our
schools.
