    DEFINE THE PROBLEM


    We are having troubles with low enrollment due
    to our high tuition costs.

    ANALYZE THE PROBLEM


    Due to the high costs, our enrollment rate has
    dropped significantly over the past decade. Thus
    we are losing our income and having issues
    maintaining the campus and making Westminster
    a reliable and beautiful college.

    ESTABLISH CRITERIA FOR A SOLUTION


    We have decided to establish a survey to ask
    students and high school seniors their opinions on
    the best way to afford college tuition.

    CONSIDER POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE


    PROBLEM
    1. Advertisement of financial help and offices. For
    instance working on college gets you discounts.
    2. Mandatory meeting with financial offices on how
    to pay for college.
    3. Make more benefits available to out of state or
    international students to get them to come to
    our college.

    EVALUATE AND DECIDE ON A SOLUTION


    We evaluated all the solutions and decided to
    combine solution 1 and 2 to make a better
    solution.
    The solution is to advertise the mandatory
    meeting with financial offices to new coming and
    even senior high school students.

    IMPLEMENT THE SOLUTIONS


    We implemented the solution by sending out
    representative across the valley with brochures
    that state how we will help students with financial
    issues.

    FOLLOW UP ON THE SOLUTION


    With the brochures, our enrollment rate went up
    10% from the last 5 years making our solution
    work.
    We also saw a decline of students dropping out by
    5% due to college finance figured out.
