This guide describes how to configure and operate the Shrew Soft VPN Client

with an open source VPN Gateway

System Requirements
This software package should install on any reasonable machine running a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows
2000, XP,Vista or Windows 7. Testing has only been performed on machines running with the latest service
packs installed. For this reason, you are encouraged to keep your operating system up to date when using
this software. An account with administrative privileges will be required to run the install application but not
for normal operation.

Download from www.shrew.net the vpn client for windows.

1. Choose an option "Run" or "Save" (Save)

2. Downloading the VPN Client for Windows

2K/XP/Vista/7

4. Click "Next"

5. Click "I Agree" to accept the terms of the

agreement

6. Click "Next"
3.Double Click to start the Setup

11. Open from Start/program files/shrewsoft VPN
Client / Access Manager

8. Installation is in progess
12. At this point you can import the previous VPN
profile TUDelft.pcf file or you can configure a
new profile.
In this example is choosen for a New profile
Click Add

9. Click "Install"

10.Click Finish

13. Select and fill out the settings

14. Fill out and Click Save

17. Fill out the username and password of your

NetID and Click Connect

15. Fill out Pre Shared Key < wireless > and Click
Save
18. Establishing Connection

16. Double Click to open VPN Client

19. Connection is established
