An output device can collect information from another device, but it


cannot send data to another device.

LCD Projector This device can project images or what is displayed in


the computer wall or projected screen.

Printer- is an output device that can print text or images on paper or


transparent films.

Audio output device or Speaker- Can generates sounds depending how


high or low the input is.

Headphone Another type of audio device from which a small


speakers was placed directly to the ear of the user.

2. An input device are electronic devices that are connected to the


computer that can send input signals to another devices.

Keyboard- Similar to an old typewriter this type of input device is


where you can write or type, encode information to be send.

Mouse- is used to input instructions or data by sending a signal to the


computer. But unlike keyboard you dont have to type any character or
text the mouse will move based on hovering the cursor and selecting
with the left mouse button. The left mouse acts as a 'do this' or 'enter'
button. The right mouse button can be selected and will often pop up a
window of choices.

Digital Camera or Web Cam / CCTV- A digital camera is used to take


pictures and used as video input.

Microphone- This is used for audio input

MIDI Keyboard- or the Musical Instrument Digital Interface is another


type of musical input device from which a musical player can directly
input his/her musical play in the computer.

3. Storage Device a device that you can store and retrieve


information. There are two main types of storage, 1. The Primary
storage or the RAM and the ROM (Read Access Memory and the Read
Only Memory). The primary storage is the main memory of the
computer. 2. The Secondary storage is an alternative devices that can
be used to store documents.
