Responsibilities
Facilitate New Hire On-Boarding and New Hire Benefits meeting, track preemployment and on-boarding
Execute off-boarding of employees including termination and exit interview
Prepare Recruiting and HR metrics
Field employee questions and manage HR inbox
Input data (date entry of new hires, terminations, data changes, salary changes,
etc.)
Complete employment and salary verifications, as needed
Track Leave of Absences and work with managers to return employees to work
Benefits Status Conversions meet with employee on benefits changes, payroll
changes and life events
Escalate payroll issues and benefit issues to fruition
Maintain and manage org charts
Complete payroll, organizational and supervisor changes in Peoplesoft
Initiate historical data changes
Manage the employee recognition program
Complete workers comp claims, unemployment claims, disability claims, state
claims and garnishment claims
With supervision, handle minimally complex employee relations issues
Pull weekly data reports and prepare reports as needed for organization
Understand People & Organization initiatives and assist in implementation of new
programs
Coordinate with contingent workers, contractors, consultants, temporary
employees and interns with on-boarding, off boarding and confirming/initiating
background checks
Coordinate small and large group meeting scheduling (set-up conference rooms,
prepare materials, etc)
Oversee performance management and recognition system
Work with corporate Verizon for site AQMD compliance
Asses and coordinates ergonomic needs
Special projects as assigned
