!ASSIGNMENT
!Make a single sheet book that has eight panels about a fire, a

flood, wreck or accident. Follow the format in the diagram.


Your book should have a cover and include words and images.

!MATERIALS

Paper sheet size (large) 24 x 36


Sharpie, felt tip pens or charcoal pencils

INSTRUCTIONS

!Keep in mind the list of transformation techniques: magnification, minification, multiplication, substitution, reversals,
fragmentation, partial delineation, distortion, disguising,
metamorphosis, transmutation, simultaneity, soft focus,
transference, collapsing volume, animation, progressive image
breakdown. Consider how these techniques can be used in the
service of narrative and use at least two of these techniques in
your book.
