Iron on transfers

A simple guide
Care Instructions
Cold wash, dry in shaded area, do not tumble dry, do not dry clean, do not bleach,
do not iron directly on transfer.
Heat Press/Iron Instructions
Set the Iron/Press to 160degrees (Iron medium/a little over wool/polyester, NO steam)
Peel off the backing paper, locate the print onto the garment, cover with thin cotton (pillow case etc)
Then, using medium pressure, press it for 3-10 sec* (depending on the thickness of the fabric). Generally,
thicker material requires more pressing time.
1st press time guides:
Non woven bags 2-3 sec, polyester 5-10 sec, business shirts 8-10 sec, cotton tee or polo shirts 6-14 sec,
school bags 8-15 sec, Canvass 12-15 sec, denim 15 sec+, leather 15 sec+
After the first press, remove the clear transfer carrier (if the edges are lifting, a longer pressing time is
needed.)
2nd press:
A 2nd press is recommended for full adhesion.
Cover the print with the thin cotton (pillow case etc) or baking paper and press again, usually the 2nd press is
HALF of the time of the 1st press.
A guide to good adhesion is when you can see the texture of the fabric appear through the transfer.
