LeighAnn Coleman 09/28/15 Math 1050 Math in The Real World In this project we used a situation of traveling and cost of travel to create a function that would be least costly. | also just recently used math to calculate the slope I needed, to cut my material for a costume. These two situations both taught me that algebra is actually useful in real life situations. 1 always thought that I would never use algebra, but now I can see that it has some applicable uses in my daily life, such as: planning camping trips, making costumes, making large amounts of food. Though I do still think it isn't something I will use everyday, it is nice to know that I'm not learning all of this for nothing
