Field Trip and Ag Shop Safety and Policies

Field Trip Policy:


1. A tentative list of students who are going on the trip must be submitted to all teachers at
least two weeks prior to the trip. A teacher may have a student removed from the list if he
or she:
a. is currently having difficulty academically in a class.
b. has been absent more than a reasonable amount of days.
c. has been a chronic discipline problem.
2. Students should obtain assignments before leaving on the field trip and submit them upon
returning to school.
3. All tests must be taken as scheduled by a student's teacher.
4. All other work missed because of a field trip must be made up promptly according to the
school's make-up policy.
5. Students must submit a signed parent permission slip for each trip.

Ag Shop Policy:
1. There will be absolutely no horse play in the shop or classroom.
2. Safety tests will be taken and signed by each student before every
unit.
3. No student will operate equipment without supervision.
4. Safety glasses are to be worn when appropriate.
5. The student may get rights taken away if misbehaving in shop.
