Fantastic interpretation of the wall symbolizing a World War I trench.

I believe
the wall is symbolic of a difficult situation. The phrase where theres a wall is
representative of the saying where theres a will theres a way. Basically, no
matter how difficult the situation, there is always a way of getting through it. It can
be done aggressively: through methods of torture, or it can be done peacefully
and more conventionally: with a gate maybe a ladder a door
When the author says I am
standing staring at the top lost in the clouds, I imagine a huge wall that is as high
as the clouds. This imagery is very powerful
