In 2012 the total E-commerce industry is
about $ 1 billion GMV, according to
technopak it is estimated to become $
76 billion by 2021, because 30 40 % of
India will be online with mostly 3G
users.

India, the company doubled its business
in fashion business and shuts it music

2013
Reached almost 10 million users.
To achieve $ 1 billion gross
merchandise value by 2015.
In 2 years they want to increase their
shipment velocity by 3 or 4 times.

2014
Flipkart raised $ 1.9 billion including
$ 1 billion round with investor.
In 2-3 years , Flipkart will be largely
an M-Commerce company.

2015
It aims to generate 2 million jobs in India. At present 33
thousand are working with the flipkart.
It acquires 44% e-commerce market share.
It has 20 million products, 40 million registered users and
ships 8 million products.
It also acquired myntra for an estimated price of $ 330
million.
It received $ 210 million from DST global.
7 lakh to 10 lakh moto handsets have being sold in India
