Eisley LOC
QD #5
Of the first three paragraphs, the last sentence of the 3rd
paragraph can best bee seen as Eisleys thesis. Its life I believe in,
not machines. Throughout his essay, Eisley makes a case for birds, or
more broadly believing in nature. If he were to conclude with this
sentence, it would complete his essay in the sense that it is a central
theme, found throughout.

QRS #3
When Eisley uses sayings such as Ill admit, you know, and I
guess, because the entire time he talks (writes), Eisley seems to be
speaking to an audience. Through using phrases such as these, he
creates a personal, intimate setting that makes it seem as if the reader
is sitting there talking with Eisley, hearing about one of his personal
experiences, instead of reading something he has written.
